      Dear parents,

Anyone can advise us regarding first day of P1...what to bring etc? We missed the orientation and school did not give us any information / booklet regarding first day. Is there a booklist for 1st week of school, like what to bring for English, Chinese, math lesson etc? Is there locker in school for children to store their books? Thank you v much for your help in advance
Usually for first week, my child brings the core subject text books like EL, MA, CL and some exercise books. They don't do much teaching during the first week.

For P1, I think it is mostly orientation and getting to know each other.

The lockers may be shared instead of individual.

        Dear dyh,

Thank you for your response. Can i check if the lockers are shared, does it mean no need for padlocks? And when can we start picking up our kids at the back gate for P1 pupils? Can pupil wear PE t shirt to school on the day of PE?

        Thank you once again.

There is a key lock for the lockers.
P1 and P2 end at 6.30 pm, that's when they are released at the backgate.
Yes, pupils are to wear PE uniform during PE days.

              Hi fellow KiasuParents

do you know if PHPP turning to single session any time soon?

              do they offer higher chinese?

              thanks

School planned to turn single session in 2016.

This is a SAP school, so yes, higher Chinese is compulsory until P4.

I am wondering if they need to renovate the school.
Either that their intake will have to cut next year for P1?

You may want to give your child some pocket money for recess. Other than that, I don't think there is anything special to take note of.

Sorry to sound so stupid here. May I know how do we inform the form teacher about which gate to release the child since we don't get to see the form teacher at all. Thanks and sorry to bother you again.

The teacher will ask the children who is using the backgate on the day. Those using the backgate will be dismissed near the backgate.
There is a teacher guarding the backgate too to ensure the child can only go out when the parent is there.
