Is it compulsory to wear the CGS socks. There are 4 pairs in the text book package. Is the MEP music book for MEP student only. Its not in the box.

      Yes CGS socks is compulsory.

MEP is only for MEP student only.

For shoes, the common brands the girls wear are the usual sports brand (adidas, nike, etc...) and also sketches.

If your girl has done HMT for PSLE, you can try to appeal. Try writing to HOD. Maybe the principal/ HOD will speak more about it in the next session. Campfire session?

Last year, HMT option was opened up to students who didn't originally qualify during the campfire session. But a prerequisite (if I didn't remember wrongly) was they must have done HMT during PSLE.

                Tq and agree

wta if any one know if the sec 1 classes are group in mixed ability?..

anyone know if the sec 1 classes are grouped acc to mixed ability?..

Based on last year, it is mixed abilities. I won't be surprised if this is still the case.

Mrs Tan, the Principal says everyone will have a equal start, so it should be a mixed abilities if school stick to her principle.

Eg. overseas immersion trip/ leadership positions, etc... are not based on academic results.

What to bring of the first day, besides wearing half uniform and bring PE shorts.

Think there is no lesson from 2, 5 & 6 January 2015, so no need to bring any text books? Think there is no school badge in the booklist, there are 4 pairs of socks and a tie in the text book box though…

                      Thanks.

Just bring per the instructions provided. Yes, no need for textbooks as they will be involved in orientation activities.

For name tag, we had it in the booklist last year and they stick it on the box. Heard from another parent not on ksp that it's there. You might want to double check.
