hmm... usually about every 3 months, i'll replace my bag of cloves with a new one. To be honest, not sure if that's a good time frame, but so far, it seems to be working out. :xedfingers:Hi schweppes, how long will a bag of cloves last? How frequent u change it?

In any case, good to do a bit of mini spring cleaning every 3 months. -
Anyone tried those Nano laundry ball sold in NTUC and exhibitions? Do they work as claimed?

thanksfully, my hse seldom got lizards,
but there was once, this lizard refused to get out of my hse, it would come out from one corner of the hse in the middle of the nite to look for food,
then it was nowhere to be seen in the daytime (have been \"this routine\" for wks, I think)
After several failed attempts of chasing it out of the hse, my hub finally put the sticky pad to trap it. (despite me saying No)
as I hate to see the scene whereby the trapped lizard was alive but struggling to get out of it.
So shd he used the sticky pad, I would tell him to throw it away, b4 I see it.
Sometimes, hub would use an alterative way
ie.to set up a trap by means of plastic bag and tapes and wait for the lizard to come out in search of food. (provided u know where the lizard is hiding) -

mummyjoyce,
The insect killer spray can be found in most supermarkets, like NTUC.
They cost about $11 and normally displayed together with the rest of the 'bug' killing stuff, mosq coil.
A little pricy but better than chasing after them or staring at them on the lizard pad...they disappear for a while after using this stuff

I think I have seen this before; it is green with a big Lizard infront of the bottle. However when I read the fine print; it said that it is to prevent lizards from crawling - not to repulse the lizard. I think the liquid spray out will form a thin layer on wall which prevent the lizards from crawling in.
Anyway, I will read the print again next time when I am at the supermarket again. However the thought of holding the bottle with a big lizard print on it already scare me. -
