Wow Nikinack123! You’ve done the gals, parents and bus operators a Big favour!
For info, the RI bus only ferries RI years 1 to 6 students as the two schools are next to each other. The bus operator has a separate service for RGS students. -
It actually depends on the number of people in that area… For example if you live at Simei and there’s still space, then your driver may pick up one or two from maybe Tampines. They usually focus on one area only though… Too troublesome to stop at different parts to pick up people! I know my area has 2 main buses running.

I haven’t updated my student particulars. Where can I update this information i.e., URL for online registration of student’s particulars?

I am also facing the same problem for accessing google email.

i’m planning to buy a MacBook pro for my niece. Not sure if I should buy from the Apple shop or just pass her the money to buy from the school? Is the school vendor a better deal? Thanks

Hi psle2002!
I was wondering about that too until around 5pm yesterday. My mom and I went to RGS and we called the IT Care Department, and at the time of the call, they had already put the Personal Particulars update form onto the iNet parents site - not the students' iNet site. The details for how to log into the Parents' iNet account should be reflected on the little slip of paper in your Orientation Package too ^^
Hope I helped!

Hi psle2002,
I'm not sure if something's changed since my mom called the IT Care Team, but when she called them yesterday, they said that they were still in the process of making the Google Accounts because all of the students were suddenly creating their passwords and it was a bit overwhelming for them. I think they should be done with all of the accounts by the time we start school, but for now it'd be best just to wait.

The school vendor is selling 128GB Retina Pro at $1825 and 256GB at $2135. The advantage of getting from the vendor is the 3 years hardware warranty(Apple Protection Plan) and 3 years of on-campus support. They also do configuration according to school's requirement.
I've checked with Apple Store, they do not offer any discount for students. So it's more advantageous to get from school, with its offer of goodies. -
Hi nikinack123
