I don't think there's any student care in holding site. Also not sure where is the nearest student care there, may have to ask the St Hilda's Primary parents as they are using the holding site at Bedok now.

After the upgrading, our pupils will benefit from new facilities such as redesigned classrooms, an outdoor learning laboratory, an interactive Maths Room with a retail centre, a dance studio, a performing arts studio, an Indoor Sports Hall and a synthetic turf playing field. These new facilities will encourage greater interaction and self-discovery, and facilitate experiential and hands-on learning.

Yes, there's school bus leaving CCAs to various locations.

I hv received the P1 acceptance letter for 2015. The orientation date is on 30 Dec. Seems a bit late to buy the books n uniforms. Anyone knows if I can buy from the school bookshop earlier? Also does the school hv its own school socks or shoes laces which the students must use?

The school will inform you to go to settle some administrative matters before end of term 4 and you should b e given a booklist which show there's some earlier dates to buy books. It's not compulsory to wear school socks.

I’d like to ask HGS parents regarding CCA and D3T2.

My daughter is P2 this year and saw the letter says P2& P3 parents are invited to CCA Carnival tomorrow.
CCA start from P2?
What is the difference CCA and D3T2?
As for D3T2, you can join only by invitation?
Please advise me!

Yes D3T2 is by invitation. It’s for pupils who are talented in their CCA and are usually groomed for competitions like SYF.

I read in earlier page of this forum that girls in haig girls have the option of doing higher chinese? Can parents with girls there kindly shed some light of how that work?

Chinese is important to us, but we do recognize tt even though we r 1k from both kh n hgs, it will b much more difficult to get into kh
