      max. time should not go beyond 2 hours for orientation.


      It is a speech by the principal and more about sharing of the syllabus and curriculum by the head of department for the 3 subjects and assurance that your child will be fine and ok in the school.

      There should be a performance by selected P1 boys from this year.

      It is also one of the schools that do not allow any parents around in the school from day 1 of the new school term.

            :stupid: Those driving their P1 to school, please go early . Anytime after 6.50am wil b super jam as the sch buses arrive after 6.45 am. Esp if u are coming from the opp direction and need to do U turn ...

                  Also, does ds hv to bring all the books to sch on first day? Very heavy! Including padlock colour pencils etc? I will leave out the 1b textbooks and workbooks.

                      If I remember. he has to bring it all and on the first day teacher will take from him.

                        NFY stands for Not Finalise Yet.
                        This is due to the new syllabus for Chinese for those born in 2008 as stated in MOE website and was in the news.

                        If it is not ready yet, the teachers will inform you through your child on how to pay on the first few days via the school.

                        Else can check with popular bookstore, as you can buy it at 5% cheaper for members, or online also at 5% cheaper for school textbooks and workbooks.
