Hi joyfulhands,
Do you have the list? Can you share with me please? ThanksJoyfulhands:
A correction. The list of items to bring was not given out on orientation day but mailed to parents together with the letter dated 29 Sep in an A4 envelope. That list is called Annex G. Sorry for the confusion.
acbcfamily:
Hi joyfulhands,
Can you send me some photos of the list that was given out on the orientation day? And what about the briefing for P1 parents? What time is it?Can you give us some details? We asked school admin and they said there is no briefing whatsoever for parents or any list given out on orientation day. I really don't know who should I look for in order to get hold more info about P1 school opening.
Thank you so much for your help in advance.
Do remember to pin the name tag on your daughter's uniform, and indicate the pickup location eg back gate, bus number etc. Btw there is a list of books & other things to bring on day 1, 2 & 3, which is given out during orientation day. Other than that, there should be a P2 buddy to guide your daughter around in school. There's also a briefing for P1 parents on day 1. -
Hi,
How do we know if our child is in average, good or best class? My DD will be transferred to PHPP next year (P3). So not sure how this school system works.
The top 4 classes are 9,8,7,6 and the rest are mixed ability classes
Is it that PHPP always practises 9,8,7,6 being the top class for the past years? Just wondering is 9 being the top class among the 4 top classes? Still waiting for Pei Hwa’s reply for the class allocation.
Yes, 9 is the top class if there are 9 classes for the level in the year. If there are only 8 classes for the level in the year, then 8 is the top class. -

Any kind mummies can help advise if the current (2014) teachers (form and CL) assigned to the respective classes will still be teaching the same class or will there be rotation of teachers for all classes?
Based on my experience, the form teacher from p1 will be teaching the same class when they move up to p2. Cl teacher may change though. -

My dd CL teacher was quite good, hopefully next year her new CL will be equally good to help push her in her MT. -
