I have one question regarding Mac. Do the boys bring their charger with them to school everyday? Is there PowerPoint for them to charge their laptop? Necessary to bring charger? That's one of my major consideration.

Based on my impression, the battery is supposed to last 9-11 hours? If they charge at home, it should be sufficient to last. My dd usually charge her slate at home.

Under optional item, there is eubiq plug. We were contemplating whether to buy this initially. It is to allow them to plug in the classroom to charge their mac. I checked with GO and they said the class room has the infrastructure to support eubiq plug. Hence decided to buy it in case he needs to charge his mac. As initially was wondering if they have sufficient power points for charging hence eubiq might be the solution.

Thanks for the info. I am very tempted to get the 13\"Pro with Retina display but battery life is only 9hours compared to the Air.

Checking any parents going to school tomorrow with your DS? My son said very 丢脸 and asked me not to go.

But I still have to buy exercise books and stationary which are only available in the school bookshop. Also trying my luck to see if his singlets size is available for sale.

So is anyone going to school tomorrow?

Only accompanying him for the bus/ mrt ride and not going into the school with him.

I comtemplated doing this with dd1 last year. But upon dropping her off at school, observed no parents followed so I thought I better not. But would be keen to meet ds after school tmr. Hopefully he will have fond recollection of the day.

Yeah, think I will just go by myself later during the day to get the necessary.

                Thanks.

I asked ds if he wants me to follow him to school tomorrow and he was like NO. So yes might be good to go later 😉 if not your ds feel awkward.

                    Hi all,

Based on experience, there isn't really a need to bring a charger as the battery is enough to last for the day but most students bring it anyway.

No need to bring books as the first day will have a welcoming ceremony (as written in my timetable) and some other orientation activities. The form teachers would let your son's know more tomorrow 🙂

Looking forward to see the new students tomorrow and I hope they enjoy their time in MSHS :boogie:

I have made the MacAir order online. Finally decided to go with Air due to longer battery life. Anyone knows if our DS will collect their new toy in school?

I have selected cheque payment. Do we pass it to the boy to make the payment on collection day?

                      Thanks.
