Heard sometime ago that The original Katong Laksa (Marine Parade Laksa), previously located at No. 49 East Coast Rd is at @ Roxy Square.

Last year, I tried asking around but no one seemed to know. Finally, today, I managed to satisfy my cravings!

FYI, it is now at #01-64, Roxy Square.

For laksa, my preference is the one at sungei road. They only provide spoon without chopstick. Now they are at a coffee shop behind the Jalan Besar hawker center.

Yes, the ones along East Coast Rd all use spoons only, no chopsticks.

Heard about the one at Jln Besar, must try one day! Thanks.

Yes... they claim to be the original. Original or not, it was pretty good. Felt like a kid eating it with the spoon πŸ™‚

Wah, didn’t know you’re their supporter too, Chief.

Prefer their old location as this current one is rather hidden away and not as ηƒι—Ή. The rojak here is also lousy.
              😎

I don't know where their old location is, but I thought the current foodcourt they are in is ok. At least there's air conditioning πŸ™‚

Oh, they used to be at a roadside coffeeshop at #49 along East Coast Rd and very near to their other competitors eg 328 Laksa etc. It is about 1 bus stop walk away from Roxy Sq.

At the old place, besides laksa, you can also find rojak, tiong bahru pao, durians too. Most bustling i guess.
