@Love4learning Yeah I think that should do.

@Candiess Still got chance, but should run fast. Both are sport CCAs, thrice a week, Monday to Friday, 3.30pm onwards (not sure when they end).
end at 6:30, may be, then debrief, pep talk, then pack the store etc etc ...if lucky can leave school at 7:30 or 7:45pm

        Thanks RafflesianSnr and Pirated.

So the audition for Rugby and Hockey will be based on running? He can run but no experience in either sport. Will he be tested on the rules of the games, etc?
Do they end the CCA in school or some other training field? If they end so late, do they have time to rest and do homework at night?
What about uniform CCA like NCC? Not so hectic?

I think no need worry too much.

If keen, choose it after the profiling and see if selected or not. Each sports cca's profiling is diff, as each sport's skill focus is diff. They will be tested accordingly. There have been people with no experience at all but still ended up in school team.

The hint will be given like \"if u put them as first choice you will get it\"....

No need experience I don’t think. Never heard of them testing for knowledge of sport.

For both sports CCA is school. Not them, not sure.

Uniform Groups are just two days compared to three for Sport CCAs. However they may have other events (think courses, flag day etc.) which balances it out. There still is quite a bit of PT though.

              Thanks.

Concerned as his travelling time back home is more than 1hr.
Will let him decides as he must enjoy the CCA.

That’s right you don’t want to be in a CCA you dread going to.

                  Hi Parents

The Year 1 orientation packing list stated two 1.5l bottles. I assume this is for drinking?

Does it mean we just send empty bottles?

They have also indicated 1 towel…will that be sufficient for the 3 days? Will they be able to dry the towel else it would better to send more?

Bottles for drinking. I’d recommend making sure at least one is half-full though.

There is no assigned location for them to dry their towels and they’ll be using it 2-3 times, so bring as many as you see fit, although IMO one is enough

DS said can put the towel on chair or table to dry.
