Where is cognitive hub? How is the lesson like?
Hi it is located at Upper Bukit Timah, opposite Beauty World, along a row of shophouses. My child says lessons are fun and from my observation of worksheets. they provide current news etc. One mum shared with me when we chatted that her son said lessons here are better than British Council! I hope this info helps -
Hi,
My son Dwayne is in Catholic High P3 next year and he is currently with Mr David Huang at Indigo Center. I really like the class because it is small and David really pays attention to every child. Also, the lesson material looks good and different from his school stuff. Most importantly, my kid enjoys going for the lesson and the class is really effective for him.
PM me if you want his number. -

[quote=\"Groot\"]You may want to try The Learning Lab. The teachers teach a few weeks in advance of the MOE syllabus and also provided tips for assessment. Their teachers are usually ex-MOE teachers. 1 dowside is the fees is quite expensive. Be prepared to pay about 3 times more than BC.
You may also wish to try The Cognitive Hub. My child is there taking lessons now. Teachers are very qualified and experienced and more importantly, they care about the learning and about the child. The fees are also reasonable, definitely much less than TLL .My child learnt to appreciate the language and looks forward to attending lessons every week. They are very forward looking and teaches more than just normal school stuff.
Yes. That is the one
Hi,

The centre (HL Education now known as Our Klass-room) my kids attend does not require a deposit. They only charge us the monthly tuition fee.DSMolly:
Dear parents
I have an urgent need to know if any Enrichment centres/schools, tuition centres impose a deposit (e.g $100) when you sign your child up for courses and only refund you if you give notice of 4 weeks in advance should you decide to discontinue the course with the school? If less than 4 weeks notice is given deposit will be forfeited. If you know of any school having this T&C can reply to this? So far I know that I Can Read prog n 'My English School' has this unfair practice. Thks a lot
P.S This deposit is separate fr the non-refundable registration fees which was also paid to the school.
I know of a few other enrichment schools that ask for deposit up to a month's fees. I thought it is normal. -
