Kcs parents so quiet…

Hi all,
my DD is from P1.8. She missed sch yesterday due to sick and I was quite shock to see spelling test schedule starting from next week onwards but could not find the spelling list.
Pardon my comments here but I was also quite disappointed that we were not given a chance to interact with the form teachers and the orientation programme was quite rigid. It was as though as the school had wanted parents to stay away as early as possible.
The VP was trying to answer the questions though I thought the principal response was quite curt. I asked the principal about giving parents a chance to see the classroom and she told me plainly to wait for parents-teacher session in the mid of 1st term in March. -

The spelling list is in the spelling book. A4 size, orange colour. Let me know if you need the list.
We went around the school a few times to explore different corners wihtin the school compound. So I saw the classrooms. P1 classrooms quite ok. On second floor. Got white board and quite spacious. Three kids in a row. One cluster on left and one on right. -
Yes, thank you. silly me. I just found it after flipping through her books after seeing the new timetable.
As for the classrooms, I still have no clue which level or corner or direction her classroom is. I should have taken the chance to explore during 14 Nov last year.
I was looking forward to spending her first few days of P1 with her till I saw the programme listed for us. It was quite off my expectations thus the disappointment. Hope KC school will turn out to be fun for my DD eventually. -
Oh, u also got new timetable. I thought only my kid’s class has a revised one.
P1 is on level two. Up the staircase nearest to the GO, on level two, the few classrooms nearby are the p1 classrooms.
How’s your dd feeling now?
She ok with her recess food, lessons etc?
My kid is adapting. -
I think she’s ok albeit tired of lesser sleep.
Today they will start to buy food from canteen and my dd still clueless about value of money. -

As the group gets bigger, I think eventually the parents of the same class may create their own groups (for each class).

1. PAL starts from 2 feb
2. Spelling starts next week. There will be 7 spellings in t1.
3. Bring Word bank book to school. -
Received student handbook already.

Hi my son in p1 at kheng cheng. Im shocked they have maths and spelling test just nxt week :slapshead: ive yet to teach my son kinda lost where to begin. Help needed pls!! :?: My son doesnt know how to read yet either.. im finding a tutor for him does it help?? :scratchhead:
