I don't think learning lab has class specially for gep preparation...but their lessons are of 'high' standard....
I am just wondering if Learning Lab's lessons are really of a very high standard? I know their fees are high though. But seriously is the quality of the tutors and lessons delivered really warrant the fees payable?

personal choice, not because cannot get in, some don't want

may be they are *tired* with the predominant / preconceived \"chinese\" culture
HCI's integrated with NYGH. All girls join HCI for the integrated programme unless they want to transfer/do too badly that they took O levles.
Its not HCJC. Its HCI (College)

Not sure about the quality of tutors as I have no kids studying there....but I believe it shouldn't be too bad as I heard many top schools students go there for tuition....... 😉

            Hi KSP,

As u are curious abt preparation for the gep preparation...so fyi MINDSTRETCHER learning center has gep preparation class.... but no idea does it help.... 😉
for curiosity (Mindstretcher is another DR PEH?), i called and found out that they charged about $280 every 4 lessons for Eng or Math. If taken both Eng+Math, then $500 every 4 lessons for both. Course already started and will last till Oct....

further, in their advertisement, it is said: "subject to students’ eligibility…"

therefore, it means that if the kids pass their entry test, they are also smart enough and hence don't need to join their tuition

it is extremely easy teach the smart and motivated kids

Yes, the screen is also good for us so that we don’t waste our time and money.

But most important don’t waste their precious seats so that they can take in the most capable students and if they can really "groom" them to GEP in P4 they can use these student names for their advertisement. Well, that’s a win-win situation.

yap u may say so...But for borderline 'gifted' children..maybeeeee it helps......but these children who manage to get in to GEP eventually..emmm hopefully they can cope with the programme..
