I really am quite annoyed by the flatulent use of acronyms or abbreviations. My daughter came back after orientation and fired across a host of TLAs (Three Letters Acronyms) = just for the sake of it... which I went WTH. What's alarming is, this seems habitual amongst the pupils and native to schools in Singapore where it's customary acceptable for school curriculum. I forbids her or son from using them at home. And I hope we can shake this off... Sigh

Cool it Well... it's not just schools, multinational companies also use alot of acronyms that they have to organise a training to train people on acronyms. So yes, we are preparing them for the future.
