Crescent Girls' School

I really am quite annoyed by the flatulent use of acronyms or abbreviations. My daughter came back after orientation and fired across a host of TLAs (Three Letters Acronyms) = just for the sake of it… which I went WTH. What’s alarming is, this seems habitual amongst the pupils and native to schools in Singapore where it’s customary acceptable for school curriculum. I forbids her or son from using them at home. And I hope we can shake this off… Sigh

Cool it Well... it's not just schools, multinational companies also use alot of acronyms that they have to organise a training to train people on acronyms. So yes, we are preparing them for the future.

Thanks MMM for your response. My girl does HCL so means no need to stay back for the 1CSP? 3 periods for a Friday afternoon.... :faint:

Does anybody know where to get the CGS’ staff list & their email? I simply can’t find it in their official website.

Hi MMM,

Thanks for all the info you have shared. My niece is enjoying herself at CGS.

But life is quite hectic for her as the school has already started sending her for competitions.
