        PMed you, MMM.

Thanks for the pdf. Her mom commented that even though she wakes up at six every morning, she is still of energy at 10pm with such a rigorous schedule. πŸ™‚

She DSAed through sports. Joined the school team's training even before the first day of school. That is a good strategy as it gives the girls an idea of what is to be expected of them when school starts.

Congrats to CGS last year sec 4s! Thanks to the teachers and the school, Crescent did very well this year! 90+% distinction for E math and around 80% distinction for A math. The school will have a half day off this year. Well done! Keep it up! :congrats:

                Myth2014:
Does anybody know where to get the CGS' staff list & their email? I simply can't find it in their official website.

It is no longer on the school website. You can get their emails through your DD's email account by searching for the teacher's name or you can email the teacher in the format:[email protected]

Eg, if the teacher is called John Tan, the email will be: [email protected]

You can also call the GO.

                Hope this helps!

Yes, i heard from dd yesterday...and i told her the principal must be joking with them to keep them awake... πŸ˜‚

I was told that CGS did well except for History which falls below national level. πŸ˜“

It seems that MOE have some how lowered their passing standard for P6 and Sec4 last year... hope this is a good sign.. so everyone can make it to the next level without any difficulty. :celebrate:

Waiting eagerly for term 1 letter from the school. All I heard was the 1/2 day πŸ˜‰

Really? History below national level???? Sounds wierd though. But if it is, hope the school has some actions to improve that area.

Any idea on average score for the L1 R5? Also how many % scored 6A1s and above, etc....? I recalled last year was 60%+ & above.

Hi Misty Rain, glad to know that your niece is enjoying herself in CGS :imcool: That is great to know and importantly despite the heavy schedule, she is still happy and raring to go.

Depending on the nature, I suppose different cca has different requirements for DSA students. Some more than the other. Observed different schools have different practice too.

But if your niece is able to continue to contribute using her talent and bring back glory for the school. It will be a win win situation for both.

DD also shared that for English, the no of students scoring distinction is more than 60%, or was it 70% ? Hope she got the info right ... as she does daydream at times πŸ˜„

Hope the good results will spur the current batch of students to work even harder !
