Hi, I just signed up as PV with the school I wanted my kid to get it. I’m not sure if interview will be conducted but I was told that the school will call me in May or June to tell me if I am selected.

Kong Hwa is it one of the school under Hokkien Huay Kuan? Wow guess it would be a fierce competition between the ALumni, Clan & PV group or maybe the Grassroot.

Wish you good luck in securing a PV. Have you check conirm do PV have a place based on past balloting history trend?

Mine is not from Kong Hwa.

Based on past 2 years record for Kong Hwa, those PV and stay within 2km got in. This is the time when you should start doing PV and clock 40hrs by end Jun next year. This is for 2010 registration, 2011 starts P1.

I didn’t see which year is yours in this thread. If you are going for 2009 registration, 2010 starts P1 , then it is too late.

My ger borned in 2004, so I shld start registering myself as PV this yr. Thus the timing is still right, I am waiting for the school to confirm if I am selected. The admin told me the school will inform me ard May & Jun time.
Hopefully I get in.

Did you only apply for PV in 1 school?


I applied (or called) 10 schools only got 3 accepted me as PV. 2 I stopped after 10~hrs and continue with 1 because I find it more suitable.

so she'll be P1 in 2011,

After Head Parent Volunteer interviewed. Was told to wait for calls and general official will cal me. but been waited & waited more than a month.

My house here within 1KM. 2 schools very near to my house...
St Hilda & Poi Ching Primary School.

both school all parents volunteers CLOSED.
and i think most of school are closed for parents volunteers.
