Ok, here’s another one. Happened to my Japanese colleague.

A bunch of colleagues from our Japanese office came to town and my Japanese colleague offered to bring them out, starting with Crab at one of the restaurants at the East Coast Food Centre. They decided to order a variety of crab dishes, including clear crab broth.

What came first was the individual bowls of brown "soup" with a piece of lemon inside. "Soup!", my colleague declared, and proceeded to bring the bowl to his mouth. He thought it was strange - the soup was luke warm and tasted like tea. Anyway, everyone mimicked him and finished it in a gulp.

      Then the soup came.

      :!:

          Yup.

My colleague was quite senior, so the junior guys who came from Tokyo for a looksee felt pressured to gulp the whole thing down. When he came back the next day to tell us, the whole office was like :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:.

Whenever I gotten a seat near the MRT’s door, I’ll always keep a look out for “people who needs it more that me”. One occasion, 2 ladies and a few kids board the train, I quickly offer my seat to one of the lady who looks pregnant (well, she’s wearing a very loose-fitting doll dress with a big tummy)……. Her friend start laughing :rotflmao:

Friend : haha :rotflmao: ….she’s not pregnant lah……haha…… :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
            Lady : ……. :x
Me : ……… :scared:  err……then…..let the kids sit lor……..

I quickly alight at the next station

Yah yah before giving up seats also must evaluate if the person is pregnant or plump..... Had a friend who is single but pretty big tummy. She has been offered seats rather regularly and she just took it \"graciously\". Embarrassing for her right to say... I am not pregnant just.....
