The present paper back Maths textbook is at least an inch thick, heavy if need to carry everyday. But if leave in the sch locker would still need to bring back home if need to refer to for homework assignment.

Btw the sch library has many copies of the paper back Maths textbook. According to my elder boy, can only use in the library, can't borrow out.

I'm surprised that NJC opens up this IvP to JH1s, as most other schools typically offer it to only Sec 2 students.

I am comparing the JH module information booklet recd recently with a copy recd in 2014.


One noticeable change is the semester report format.
2015 page 3 vs 2014 page 3

Previously each grade has a grade value and interim results r given a GPA calculated based on no. of credits, modular grade value and % assessed.

Now interim semester reports only marks. Overall year reports scores and means.

Page 3 states: overall scores, overall subject scores.

What is the difference between these?

I supposed we won’t b seeing a semester GPA and its percentile on the interim report anymore.
