Toa Payoh popular has a lot of stock last sat.
Many places were out of stock within hours. We were at Clementi Mall Popular before 6 pm on Saturday and were told they ran out of stock at 2 pm.
We managed to grab the last copy of Chinese and a copy of HCL. -
why rush to buy? thought the schools will order for the kids? My DS school will order for them and this is so every year.

That’s the reason why there is insufficient stock…because parents of non-P6s are also buying. I would really like to take a look at science OE questions to check the ‘trend’.
But I think having 2012-2015 would be a better gauge because English exam format is changed this year…with 2015, and past 3 years as comparison, we can see the differences. -

For p6, definitely better get early cos 4+1 books to do before exam is no joke. English book is the thickest. -
Parents of p6s should get a copy to have a look at the trend…although still have to study everything and not spot questions.
Hubby said to get a copy of math and science…told him, ‘wait till march or april when parents have somewhat cleared’. -
There is no need to rush to buy immediately. Stocks will be replenished and it is not like the students will do immediately after the books were bought. I think releasing of PSLE exam papers just fuels kiasuism

DS got psle this year.. bu no tuition, no enrichment classes ( except for Chinese).. anyone same??? reading this thread really :yikes:
.. you think school 's works is not enough? can see the loads of hw they r having..still have time for tuition??? really :frustrated: -
My DD’s teachers told the girls don’t buy yet. School will go through the samples copies and decide which to order for the cohort. I think that should be the way !
