                  calrose rice = japanese rice?

                  Japanese rice is japonica and calrose is one type of medium-quality japonica grown in California.

                    I made something like that too for my ds. I added brown rice. The colour turned out to be brownish-reddish white. Wanted my ds to hv a healthy snack.
