Sometimes wonder how teacher choose the monitor/ monitress. It's not based on results or competency. Haha maybe their looks???? :?

During my girl's P2, their monitress was chosen because the form teacher only know her as she used to study in her CL class. So they were sore about it as they don't find the classmate \"competent\" enough.

Hi vlim, for my son's class, the power ranger is responsible for switching off the fans/lights when they leave the class.

          I think it's a cute designation πŸ˜„
Same for dd's class. I thot they should give the girls the title of power puff girls. πŸ˜›

Usually the trs will choose those well-behaved kids to be the monitor / monitress? But that doesn't necessary mean that they can control the class.

                  MMM:

Eg. my P3 she was appointed as QM? in the band. We were trying to guess what does that represent for. Quality Mgt? Quality Manager? Quality Monster? I still can't remember what it stands for
MMM, think it's Quarter Master. We had this position in my time too.

Hi MMM, no, I’m not an old girl. In most performing groups, QM is a "must-have" position. I’d think it involves a lot of responsibility since one is accountable for the instruments issued to the members. I was in Chinese Orchestra in JC.
