        Ferishia:
I've been looking for a childcare for my almost 2 yr old son, but it seems that everywhere around has a long waiting list. I just had a baby girl a month and a half ago, and I'm getting my hands full so I was thinking of signing up for half day care for my son.

Does anyone know any place around Toa Payoh that doesn't have a long wait list?

        Thanks in advance!

went once to young talent to survey. to be honest, its better to keep your child with a good maid then to put her in that place. coz it reminds me of army camp…

the childcare in hdb is slightly better , but teachers are only on the ball when parents are around. saw this 4 year old gal was left alone outside the bath room as she didnt want to bathe.

ntuc childcare above ntuc, looks like a village for illegal immigrantes. very torn down.

kinderland at safra is ok. but space too small.

hi amitabha, think jessin already full.
i feel that jessin's teachers are not up to notch in term of teaching experience. but honestly, they are very caring type. and most of the children are very discipline.

any1 can comment on K1 chinese clan along tpy lor-2 or pfc near tpy centre?

Hi golfer, how is jessin's teaching experience not up to notch?Just wondering cos maybe we have different expectations and thinking. Want to know how other parents think compared to mine.

Anyway, I have a daughter in kindergarten now but she's not studying In Jessin. I went to enquire before but it was full by the time I went cos it was somewhere after the year has started. I actually got to speak with Mrs Tan, the principal and she explained the curriculum to me and from what I hear from her, I can know that she has a vast teaching experience with preschool children. I managed to have a glimpse of the children and teachers in class...teachers kind looking and young...children interested and attentive in class. I find this very impt as getting children's attention is not easy being a mother myself. Maybe young teachers thats why not experienced?I dont know.

I saw the banner for Registration for 2011, I think Jessin Care is the only one that do very well and full everytime. I hear my neighbour says they are husband & wife business.
