        golfer:
how much are you spending on your child's school fee to prepare him for primary school?

        mine at K1 .

        pcf kindergarten =$200
        Mind Stretcher = $200
        berries = $100
        pcf chinese enrichment = $50

        total $550 a month .

i hope when they enter primary school, the cost will reduce???
I don't know about enrichment and tuition when your child enters P1, but one thing for sure is that the school fees would be heavily reduced and that's really a load off. *** I am assuming that your are Singapore Citizen, that is. ***

is this thread about 'how much are you spending to prepare for PRIMARY school?' or \"how much you spent per month on education?\"

if it is the former, is 'swimming' or 'piano' considered as preparation for primary school? :?

if it is the latter, i think we have a similar one here.

                Yes it will. πŸ˜‰

cut down by like a LOT!

Pre-school is quite the most expensive time in a child's life. πŸ˜›

On the average, we spent an average of around S$900- $1k on each child (preschool and primary) per month.

                        K1 :
Kindy fees $389 (partially by CDA)
                        Chinese $158 (Chinese S&D and enrichment) - 2 prog
English $268 (phonics and LW) - 2 prog
                        Maths $120
                        Ballet $60
                        Music $100
                        Total $1095

P2 and P3 (except P3 got extra science)
                        School fees $16.50
                        Chinese $240
                        English $165
                        Maths $120
                        Science $127
                        Chinese S&D$83
                        Piano $120
                        Total $871.50

We are also spending time with them every weekday evening to revise work, etc… so think it’s not just $ but also time.
