She is elated...her whole group scored A...Yesterday, she was worried that what if one of the group members didnt get A ( becos of her oral presentation, the Q n A session)...they could not celebrate together n dunno how to comfort that girl...

            Congrats Augmum.

I think it depends on the group. I have a daughter doing PW this year, and they seem to be taking things very slow and easy! But they are probably not expecting to get good grades anyway. In any group project, they will have to find a way to work efficiently, and someone in the group will have to make suggestions and keep things on track. Don't worry too much about it in advance - there's nothing you can do about it.

It's common that Beginning phase is slow going...

Yes, nothing we can do abt it...soley dependent on the pupils n their teammates, coupled with guidance fr PW Ts...( whether u get a responsible PW T)

A lot depends on expectations, I think. The majority in her school got Bs and Cs, with a few As and Ds, so they are not aiming high. I guess they need to be realistic about what they can achieve.

The worst is when... the rest of the group members got A, but one of them didnt make it...though putting in equally amount of hardwork...
Can imagine how great the disppointment is...

That's why the OP n the Q n A session is so critical...makes hell lot of difference...
