Incidentally over the last one week, was told may son might have auditory processing issues . So your avatar really caught my eye :shock: .

BTW, he's the sweetest kid (to me lah :lol:). I don't care about all the labels cos, he's mine mah. I'm very used to hearing all these liao, so this is just \"one more thing\" :roll:. Just wondering how come liddat, and since there's 24hrs in a day and 7 days a week, how to fit in all the OT liao ....

On another note, sorry to hear that DS may have some auditory processing issues. Know what u mean about the headphones bit. When I found out abt dd, I was heart-broken too. Still, despite the \"labels\", it helped to give me and dh an answer to her issues and how we can strategise to best help her. I always tell myself \"small steps, small steps\"... and then one day we wd arrive with a great leap forward :hugs:

Yup, dd1 was diagnosed with apd when she was abt 9yo. With early intervention, she has improved. It's still there but at least, she is learning to cope and overcome the challenges. :hugs:
