Does your ds brings macbook to school everyday? Is it true that all homeworks assignments are done thru macbook?

I understand they are supposed to bring everyday. DS brings most of the days. Not all assignments are done through MacBook but sometimes the teachers send teaching/learning materials through emails eg powerpoinrs slides or handouts. They may need their MacBook to access?
DS said that somebody in his class found a pile of shit wrapped with tissue inside his school bag today. I feel sorry for the boy. I don't think it's just a prank because whoever did this must have planned it for some time.

FT has reported the issue to the discipline master. Hopefully, they find the culprit.

Is it sec 1 or sec 2?
This is a form of bullying.
I hope they do something about it and not keep quiet.

Disturbing to hear such incident. Bullying seems to be rampant across schools. My son gets picked on by classmates hurling vulgarities at him for no rhyme or reason. While I understand boys are rowdy but I wonder what is the school approach?
I am shock to hear that & I hope he quickly find some friends else I cannot imagine how he can focus on his studies.
As I mentioned, the school approach seem to be too quiet.

My DS is one of those that couldn't find his way there. He arranged to meet up with his friend at Hougang MRT and go together. Hope they have fun.

There is basically not enough information & this to me is a safety issue which I hope the school will improve. At times, the information either comes too late or very confusing.

Initially, it was for IT lesson only but now, it is everyday.
If there is CCA, he will lock it up in his school cabinet. I am so worry that it will get lost but so far so good.

From the start, I route all the email to my account but due to a recent hack, I can't do it now. I am still working on it...

Most assignment are done on macbook.
In fact, most teachers email them daily on homework (like working adult).. feels so stress! Even for some activities, the boys have to register on-line!!!

Your DS can also rely on whatsapp which the kids uses to help each other on homework but it can turns out badly with uncalls inetrruption, disturbance, spam, bullying, etc... sigh

Ask him to keep those adminstrate by the class chairman.
I hope it helps..

Ds bag is so heavy with MacBook and other textbooks. However, his Macbook got confiscated recently although it helps to lighten - I'm now concerned that he's not able to access to the teaching materials.

He seems so complacent about it and it has been a week - do you think I should write to the teacher about it? Although he seems to be enjoying school - I'm worried as he doesn't seem to be learning much.

Btw, may I know how I can acess to the test papers. Any website address? I think I need to give him a nudge. Thanks!

Today sports day is a mess again.

Each level is supposed to have 2 teams from 2 classes completing the relay for each house but they left it to the kids again and only 2 teams from 1 class participated. Even with the house captain intervention, it doesn’t helps. Some boys were left disappointed. Sigh.
