Actually no need to worry about getting lost.. Just ask lor.. Most importantly is the country must be safe. I love to travel alone.. Freedom... Can basically do anything u want.. I was lost in a shopping mall carpark last year when I was in San Francisco.. Forgot where I parked my carTheAnswer:
Ladies, have u guys ever travelled overseas alone?
Yup. 2 months. Went Europe, Scandinavia and Russia.
That era no GPS hor, can only rely on maps
My dh (bf then) was super worried because I am the type who get lost in shopping malls and basement carpark. Even got lost in my University campus despite attending classes daily. No worries, I have thick skin. Don't know just grab someone and ask for direction loh
Super carefree to travel alone. Freedom!!! I wanna to try again but unlikely dh will ever allow. He felt very stressed that entire 2 months while waiting for me to return :rotflmao:
So far I only went to a few countries alone.. Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong.. That's all.. Is it safe to travel alone to Europe?
My girl friend jio me to go London in 2017. Just the 2 of us..
I also want to visit Tokyo and Korea either alone or with my girl friends.. These places my hubby is not interested to go.. -

My hubby is not very good with directions.. I rather study the map myself.. My boy is good with maps too.. Next time he can take over.. -

I felt safe back then. But that was super long ago, when I was still single. Not sure about now.Is it safe to travel alone to Europe?
I heard from my brother that Paris is not that safe nowadays due to street gang. Originally intend to revisit Paris, tour free and easy with dd1. I'm a museum person, love love love paintings! So taking a package tour won't suit my interest
My brother strongly discouraged the two of us from travelling on our own -

My most recent 'got lost' incident was at Ang Mo Kio hub carpark. Cannot find my car :frustrated:Forgot where I parked my car
I won't even attempt to park at Suntec. I get confused each and every time.
I can only handle small car park with maximum two lift lobby  -

The one I was lost at had too many entrances and levels and to make things more complicated, there were too many alphabet labeling :gloomy: and worse I'm not so sure how it connected with the mall.. Had to walk in the cold finding my car.. Took me a good 30 mins before I found my car

I realised if I were the driver, I tend to remember where I park my car.

Yes, I will force myself to remember if I'm driving, or even write down the level etc, but if I'm being driven - no way I can help find the car! I always tell my husband that if he wants me to remember, he must warn me first. Don't ask me as only when we are looking for the car! -
We always make a point (ie the whole family) to remember where the car is parked even to the extent of remembering the level, zone n car park lot no.

Well, I've lived overseas in many places, and moved around alone quite a bit in new places. Does that count? Travelling out of Singapore alone - only once that I can remember, but that was to several places in Japan, US and Canada - one very long trip. I am OK if I intentionally prepare myself with maps and directions. It's only when I haven't prepared that I find it hard to remember.
