It's up to the school what they need. Some need general admin work or traffic warden. Some want specialise talent (eg. acting) or skillset (eg. IT).

Based on last 5yrs all PVs got in under P2B. But not sure will they reduce the intake in coming years.

To sign up for PV, go to the school website and download the PVG form. Fill up and submit or post to the school.

Depends a lot on how far is your address from school. Although past years all got in, \"more than 2KM\" parents always have to bite nail to see if that is still the case. (applies not just to RGPS but most schools in general).

Btw I live >1 km but within 2km and was thinking whether it would make sense.
I’ve applied for SHHK membership. Waiting for sworn in ceremony.

PV and SHHK members are under the same phase (ie 2B). if you go via PV, then nonid to apply SHHK membership (assuming that is the only reason for applying) - duplication of effort only.

NC is very popular by virtue of its location (in sengkang/punggol where there are a lot of young families). I heard of one friend who lived more than 2km from aitong. SHHK did not give him the recommendation letter cos it would be a 'waste of his time only' - and I think they are right.
