The principal my SIL wanted to meet is CTSS. Coz we all stay at west. This sch must have left good impression.
I went to SVPS to attend talks by some sec sch. CTSS was there and it was the VP that gave briefing. -

Why you transfer out from CTSS ?Fyi, I was ex-teacher from CTSS

think that's simply because HCI building is of age and HC Int'l is new?
And simply how many buildings does HCI have? Numerous. How many does HC Int'l have, form what I see, only 1, and a school hall. -
If the subject all are foundation ,if the PSLE result score 180,can the student go to normal academic

If the PSLE t-score > 180, the student will definitely go to Normal Academic.

However, with 4 foundation subjects, the likelihood of scoring 180 is nil. -
@serenelim22
To add: u don't need 180 to go to normal academic (NA)
The aggregate range of t scores for NA course is 152-199
For T scores of 152-159 , the students can choose between NA or NT
There is a very old post about a boy who took 4 foundation subjects as well.
He scored grade 1 for three foundation subjects and grade 2 for the foundation English.
He got a T score of 159 which qualify him for either NA or NT course.
He chose NT course in the end.

U can use the case as a rough guide on what kind of t-score to expect.
180 is out of the range but it is still possible to go to NA course provided the student do well in all the foundation subjects. (Grade 1 is 85 marks and above and Grade 2 is 70-84 marks)
Whether NA or NT is a better option, you can think about that later should the child's score be between 152-159.
Btw, there is also subject based banding in secondary schools now.
A student in normal technical course who did well in a PSLE foundation subject (Grade 1) can take that particular subject at NA level from Sec 1.
Whatever it is, just encourage your child to do his/her best and see how things go.
