I perceived it is not the whole Hakone is out of bound but possibly the key attractions including the ropeway at Sounzan is affected.
You may have to watch closely to the latest news regarding Hakone.

The cable car closed too. But seriously, does anyone wanna take that kind of risk at this time? Who knows what will happen? Was it last year they had a volcano eruption and caught a lot of hikers by surprise? It is still better to be safe. Japan is so big. Just go another place.

Hi, I am planning to go Japan in mid Nov with 2 kids. Haven’t decide which part to go. Any advise? Thinking of Tokyo & Osaka. Any child friendly places or activities for kids? This is my 1st time bringing them to Japan.

For Osaka, i recommend Osaka Aquarium. Better than our Underwater world here.

Also, Universal Studios may be worth a visit. A lot of people though.
