She also told me that there will not be any mid-year result slip for parent. :? -
Do take note that online registration for JH1 2016 will be made available from 25th May onwards.

My ah boy is in boarding now. Anyway, I dun follow up with him much about school.
Even if the sch does not give out mid year result slip, we could always check with the subject teacher whether there is any concern in the child's academic development.
This is just me, the lazy mum.
But I wonder what is the rationale for this change? Students not doing consistently well?
For scholarship applications, my elder boy was asked to submit each results slip by scanning and emailing to the teacher in charge, along with any other documents that will enhance the portfolio.
Note: for scholarship applications, the school teacher will approach the students, telling the student what to submit.
I think my elder boy was approached when he was in JH3. Cant remember for sure.
Btw being approached does not mean a \"sure win\".
I do not know what the criteria the school has before approaching the student.
