Megatex is out, cos I don't go fro such fairs, and he will want to tag along :!: . John Little must find something that is value-for-money and that we need. Then can say I happen to see the MPH sale while there

Thanks for helping me out with a plausible reason to make a trip there. :celebrate:

I doubt he'll believe you. :politebleah:

But seriously, babe... when he sees one day
when DS1 reads beautifully from all these investments
you've made with your good eye for bargain... he'd thank you.

Nothing makes parents prouder than having taught their own kiddies
to read... rest assured, it will all be for a good cause... a lifelong cause
in fact... plus can hand me down the goodies to DD1 as well mah... so... 😉

True what buds say. When your child reads well, DH will thank you for it.

DS1 reads well (perhaps that is a function of his age, I like to attribute to the books on hand). So now DH is a bit more quiet when I keep buying books.

Buds arh, you are so right, I have to commit to BA long term. I was contemplating to make a trip to KL when Popular have their annual fair on. Reason being the deals were good in SG (when they had that last sale in Suntec), so MYS must be better…then I wake up.

Well DH does acknowldege that DS1 is reading quite well since I started him on the readers. But that doesn't stop him from commenting that I'm always buying books, and that they can't read all of them. My retort is if they learn to read independently, they will be able to find time to read those books.

As for what I'm looking for, hard to say leh. Must see for myself. It's a bit hard to think cos it's kinda unlimited  I probably have to see it to realise that I MUST buy it :rotflmao:

Btw when do you think is the best time to go for the book fair? The minute it opens, or later in the day for the new stuff to be unloaded?
