Wouldn't the repair shop have car for use? Or rent car & claim from insurer? We did that a few years back when our car got banged by taxi coming out from side road. The cover for the repairs was fast. But it took forever for the cover for rental to be made out to us though.

our car is covered by authorized agent...besides the slots are full till june. insurance coverage included loss of car use, so there should be a temporary car during the 9 days of servicing.

whole bumper definitely needs to be changed. Japanese brand car.

9 days to get a bumper changed at my inconvenience...what pisses me is the driver hit and drove off. after managing to track down his company, he called and told me it's only a light knock and he wants to settle by bringing my car to some workshop to get it done. his vehicle is a lorry, mine is a passenger car, not a tank.

Janet, we also kena same scenario like yours - got hit at the rear by lorry.

However the lorry driver didn’t run off when dh flagged him down at the roadside (along highway) to settle this.

Yours must be pretty bad or is it the usual norm of workshops to give a longer repair lead time?

you are lucky the driver didn't do a hit-and-run. mine here did
we honked and honked but he sped off. chased immediately and still lost him.

workshop is full house until june.

I would love to have a pair of pretty shoes which has sufficient cushion…not too narrow nor broad and can walk around, yet don’t feel tired. Still looking for my dream shoes.
