DennisB,
You can check out the rates for Europe hotels in venere website. I booked most of my hotels for my Europe trip from venere. You can do a comparison on the prices with other othe online websites before booking.
They are having a 15% off bookings from their mobile app if you book by today.

I thought Ritz Carlton was good, this Capella Hotel is even better

Wonder when I can ever afford to stay there for one night. Or maybe a few families can pool their finances together and have a gathering of sorts

Capella Hotel costs more than 1 K a night, I rather go for Quincy Hotel-it looks rather chic from the website URL you suggested:

Sometimes capella has promotions which is about $700plus. But I still find it very expensive. Haven’t tried staying there though. I still prefer the rws hotels cos more facilities and places like USS, sea aquarium and Watercove Park are more accessible.

Can check out HotelClub or RatesToGo which is affiliated to HotelClub. I was checking the rate with HotelClub and found Bookings.com having a better rate, thus was chatting with online support which directed me to RatesToGo for a better direct discount instead of accumulating points from HotelClub. Great service and assistance to share best deals for my search.

Now I use Trivago to compare but also look out for sites that is not covered by them like Agoda.
Equally important is to check with hotel directly for rates. -
There’s also another website, you can consider for comparing rates
hotelcombined.com.sg -
