I am in a similar situation, but will shift to MP next year, probably rent a unit there as the traffic in the morning from SK to Tao Nan is congested.Hi Mummies,
didnt get a respond earlier and just wondering if anyone can help advise. I'm staying at Seng Kang and keen to put my daughter back to Tao Nan (my alumni). Anyone staying at Seng Kang too? Do you know the route from SK to Marine Parade and how long it would take? -
Dear Parents,
My son was born in 2013 and is due for P1 registration in 2019. We would like to register for SHHK for a chance to gain priority in Phase 2B.
Would any existing members of SHHK help us endorse our registration? I would be really grateful! Could you please email me at [email protected] ?
Thank you! -

Desperate p3 mother -
HI,
I hear from my older DD that there will still be 2 sessions next year. Based on the P1 take-in number, this will certainly be. Will the school be moving back to the original site at Marine Parade next year then?
A parent of my DD's classmate said to me that it's still within what is planned, to relocate back in Dec 2015. Nevertheless, every time I pass by the original site and see the progress of the construction, I have this feeling that it will not be ready by end of the year. Anyone have the same feeling?? -

Dear Parents
My DD registering P1 this year. We have the option trying for TNS in Phase 2B . Have been hearing some scary stories about TNS being very competitive and not-so-nurturing environment, eg stressed out kids in Tao Nan doing homework until way late into the night and having very little sleep, kids 'breaking down' and not coping or becoming demoralised by the whole pr school experience ....
Could we seek some advice on the Tao Nan school culture from parents with DS/DDs already in the school - anyone willing to share how has the experience been? are teachers caring and nurturing? is there really so much homework (until 11pm even 1am at night we heard) ? is there any emphasis on character education ? ccas ? or is it just academic above all else ?
We were keen on trying for TNS but of late, been hearing some disconcerting feedback and having cold feet ...We wanted a holistic and nurturing environment with academic focus balanced with character and ccas. How has your experience of TNS been ? As phase 2B is almost here (sweat :P), most grateful for any quick sharing/advice !
Many many thanks again !! -

not true at all.
DS has play time every day, this is in addition to his enrichment classes, CCA, etc. And he sleeps at 9:30pm.
Teachers varies. Most of the teachers, especially the more mature, are very caring and well loved by the students.
Dr Chin is famous for being a caring and approachable principal.
