Hi, anyone knows if it's possible for a child who graduates from NUSH to do accountancy, business admin or economics in local University ?
This is a link to NUS website where it indicates the courses that NUSH diploma holders can apply and the necessary prerequisite:
http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/local/prerequisites/BYA-prerequisites.html#top
Looks like they can apply to most courses. I think NUSH also offer economics as a subject from the 3rd or 4th year. -

Dear all parents,
Please refer to this blog http://nushscollegetalk.blogspot.com/ written by current and past students to have a better idea of what NUS High is like (lifestyle, academics etc and more important what to come after NUS High). If you have questions, you can also post them in the chat board and someone will answer.
Thank you. -
Hi
is it true that if one is in NUS high, he or she should target to complete the entire 6 years in a shorter time than the peers? otherwise, the child will "suffer" ie he/she will consider to be the bottom of the pack and thus, she/he should not go to NUS high in the first place? Also is NUS High more for GEP students?

Not true. Almost all students take 6 years to complete the NUS High education, however, those who accelerate in certain subjects will complete the accelerated subject modules in a shorter time and hence can proceed to do university modules (for the accelerated subject only) at NUS while still doing other subject modules at NUS High.
NUS High has a good mix of GEP and non-GEP students. Unlike some other IP schools which place GEP and PSLE high scorers in certain few classes, in NUS High there is no distinction between P6 GEP and non-GEP students in the class allocation.
