      vivienpg:
I just returned from Tokyo on Monday. Was in hotel room with my kids 4 and 6 when I experienced the tremours from ,my 27th floor room. Luckily, the hotel sent an announcement that the hotel is structurally very safe and to stay in room. Cos I panicked, hubby was out buying dinner, lifts are not working, how to run down stairs with 2 babies? Scary experience..

Another than that, my whole family love Japan...everything was so nice and fun..sigh...
Glad that everything went well...we are leaving for Japan on Tuesday.

My Jap friend told us to hide under the table if we experience a earthquake indoor.

There are lots of routes to get to your place.
The below route is with thoughts of less transfer, but might cost more...

            1) Take Narita Express (3020 yen per person/1 hour) to JR Tokyo station.
            2) Walk to JR Keiyo Line platform (15 mins from Narita Express platform)
            3) Take JR Keiyo Line to JR Maihama station(216 yen per person/16 mins)
            4) Take taxi to your hotel. (est: 1090 yen/10 mins)

            Taxi to hotel:

Replace step 1-3 with the below: http://goo.gl/29l1he

From the Japanese website, there is a free shuttle bus that goes from JR Maihama station. Am writing to them for you to see where is the bus stop for the shuttle bus. You can translate the below...

Let me know if you are not sure how to read the timetable… 😃

Also, i have found other cheaper options, around 1202 yen to Maihama (per person/1 hour 12 mins), require you to know a bit of Chinese characters, let me know if you wish to know the route…

Saw the below suggestion from some blog. Do you think it is feasible?

If you come in too late (after 5:00 pm) and have missed the last bus to the Tokyo Disney area, you can take an Airport Limousine bus to the Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay in Shin-Urayasu, which is fairly near Disneyland and then take a 5-10 minute cab ride to your final hotel. Buses to Shin-Urayasu run until about 8:30 PM.

\"Warning: Try the below route at your own risk, cos the bus driver only speak Japanese and i am not sure whether that there is a display panel inside the bus showing the bus stop when reached. Better to show the printout below to the driver prior to boarding the bus....\"

                        1) Take Keisei Bus to this place called 海浜幕張駅前 (Kai-hin-maku-hari-eki-ma-e(pronounced as eh) )
                        2) Change to JR Keiyo Line towards Tokyo (東京) for 6 stops.
                        Stop at Maihama (舞浜)

How the Keisei Bus counter look like:
                        http://i61.tinypic.com/14jnsco.jpg\">

Tell the lady you want to go to (海浜幕張駅前) (Kai-hin-maku-hari-eki-ma-e(pronounced as eh) ) and ask her which bus stop outside the airport to take the bus....

Route in Japanese (better to print out in color), in case you get lost...

                        Good luck! 😃
