Dear Potential Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to share the selection of our school uniform that Option 2 seems to be the crowd favourite. The design will be subject to further refinements for comfort and aesthetic appeal.
The bermudas/skorts will be grey to match our current P.E shorts.
Another vote will be conducted in Term 3 to decide the colour of the shirt/blouse. Look out for the announcement in Term 3. :boogie:

Dear P1 Registration Exercise 2015 Parents,
We continue receiving phone calls enquiring on our Open House on 10 July. It had been closed one week after it opened for online registration due to over-whelming response.
In order to ensure that our Open House caters comfortably to all successful registrants, we'd to restrict the number of participants.
However, do not worry as you may do the following to learn more about our great, vibrant school culture and its curriculum:
1) Spend time reading through every part of our school website at this link: http://www.westspringpri.moe.edu.sg/
We've put in great effort to keep our website information as current and thorough as possible so that visitors get the latest information on our school.
In fact, we highly recommend that you go through our website together with your child as a parent-child bonding activity. There're many photos as well on our many holistic school activities and programmes. We're certain that your child will feel just as excited about joining us, just like our current P1 & P2 students and their parents.
2) After our Open House, do visit our website again for more updated information on our school which was shared during Open House 2015.

Dear Potential Parents and Guardians,
We seek your great understanding that we're not able to hold another Open House as a number of you have requested us to do when you were unsuccessful in registering during the online registration period.
Due to over-whelming response, we'd to close the online registration shortly after it was opened.
Last year, we allowed many potential parents to attend our Open House, thus resulting in the school tours having to be called off due to the large turnout.
In order for us to be able to conduct our school tours this year, we've to limit the number of interested parents so as not to distract students in their learning when the school tours are conducted.
Holding an Open House requires huge logistical preparation, including the involvement of members of our parent support group who need to take time off from work to help us during the school tours as guides round the school. We'd like our potential parents to witness some lessons in action during the school tour as well.
Please do visit our school website to learn more about our school. Lots of information on our great school is found on the website, including a comprehensive list of FAQs derived from previous Open House sessions.
There're also photos of all our top learning facilities on the website, together with lots of photos depicting weekly joyful school life in our school.

Dear Berrypie,
Higher Mother Tongue Languages (HMTL) are offered at the P5 & P6 levels.
At P2 onwards, after students have had sufficient time transiting from kindergarten, differentiated instruction will be conducted to cater to the different learning abilities of the child. So, if a child is assessed to be highly competent in his/her Mother Tongue (MT), he/she will be taught MT at a slightly higher level than the norm group of students at the P2 to P4 levels. :boogie:
