      Hi mathsparks

Maybe a cheaper washing machine just to wash the dirty mats.

      mathsparks:
      hi schellen,
you wash the dirty mats in the machine? would it dirty the machine n clothes after?

Dishwashers can't scrub woks, pots n pans, right?

                  allseasons, you're welcome! šŸ™‚

mathsparks, i would throw dd1's shoes in too if i could but i think the rubber in her shoes cannot take it. haha! the machine is clean when the wash is done. moreover, the machine also has a tub clean and tub dry function so i don't need to scrub it personally. basically, i just use a soft rag (an old baby's washcloth) to wipe clean and dry the machine after each use. and i clean out the filter after each wash too, even though the manual says to clean out only if the dryer has been used.

yes, i prefer to scrub the dishes, pots, pans, etc myself. otherwise, how to ensure that they are really clean and free from soap? i hate cleaning complicated machines so even though i hate cleaning sinks, it's still better than cleaning a dishwasher.

The chore I would dread most is washing the floor mats and toilets. 😢

And it's true hor, schellen..dishwashers still have to be washed and I really wonder if anyone uses it to wash their pots n pans.

How if we start a new thread titled \"All about Dishwasher\", so we can discuss about whether it is useful to clean our dishes, pots & pans.. Also abt the water usage, what brand to buy, etc etc.. :? Maybe got some one here use it then can share their experience..

I am really tempted to get one, coz every night after dinner I already feel so tired... but still need to wash all the dishes.. 😢
