      Hi,

Any parents know what did last year Sec 2 (Express stream) students do for their HI (Historical Investigation) and GI (Geographical Investigation) ?

      TIA
The G.I. includes a topic about \"Inclusive Housing\" this year
H.I. is a memory box about significant people or events in Singapore, may have other upcoming projects but not sure. 😉
Anyway there are tons of projects in St Nicks compared to other top schools, its a belief of introducing us to project work for jc.

So in stnics cant go grp tuitn for math n sci right?

We have remedial sessions, even if your child is not selected for remedial, she can go, the teacher doesn't mind, you just have to tell them beforehand.

I hope sngs can consider CCA not just for competitive purposes but to give the girls a holistic and enriching CCA experience. I understand common questions asked at auditions relate to whether one has the experience or even competitive experience and this applies to sports, clubs and societies as well. I hope the school leaders can do something instead of just following what others schools are doing.

Hi cca is actually very fun, you get to hang out with your friends, of course it is important to get good results for competitions which is expected. CCA is not just going for competitions, you get to learn new skills, and have more friends. There are also learning journeys sometimes... 😄

Now tat stnic has IP are they oso pushg some of the IP Topics n curriculum to O lvl path kids esp eng n math?

Hi 🙂 Maths and english topic in St Nicks are generally the same. However for science, IP learn much more literally more informative and can have higher thinking order however the best teachers will teach extra to the O level stream sometimes.

May I know does anyone has any extra SNGS school decal for sale? In particular the yellow colored one depicted in the link below. Cheers!

                  Hi,

May i know what are the ip class and O level classes? I heard if you get above like 250-255, its likely you will be placed in the stretch classes, going by cop and number of class, does this mean Only about 2 classes are people who are not from the primary section? I am aware that there are people from the primary section that do good, and there are 2 o level stretch classes, and since those who are not from the primary section usually need about 250 to get in, doesn’t this mean most of those not from the primary section are in the stretch classes, which there is only 2?

The two o level stretch class are base on merit. It does not matter where u come from.

Can any student or parent here share how is the IP programme like?

Also, is the HMT very difficult? Girl is not taking HMT in primary not sure if she can make it.

Girl’s mark is like high B and A most of the time.
