Hi Tsuele, we live within 1km. I have been trying to find information regarding the time the balloting takes place, ie Wednesday 9am? 11am? 1pm? but not successful so far.

Oic…really hope no balloting is needed for those who stay < 1km. Maybe give a call to school to ask the timing of balloting? All the best to us!

Hi, I went to register this morning. Before I left, the number issued was 45. The staff told me don’t call the school during these 3 days to ask for breakdown of admission, asked me to check the website or call on next Monday to check whether need to ballot. But as a nervous parents, I really feel like calling them. If anyone know the breakdown, kindly share please…But most likely I will call the school on Friday evening to check. Hopefully the school will reveal the info.

Hi Tseule, do you know if 45 includes parents who registered their child online? I registered my daughter online last night. Its quite fast approaching the 76 seats available.

hi david, 45 did not include the online number. Yes fast approaching the 76 vacancies. Balloting will be conducted on 9am 5 Aug. We shall see tonight MOE website for the day 1 number. Keeping fingers crossed! :xedfingers:

Hi david, I just called SAPS. The admin said now end of Day 1 stats is balloting for SC 1-2km. She does not have the exact number breakdown. So can confirm the number of applicants are more than 76 vacancies.

Final result of 2C - 87 SC within 1km balloting for 77 vacancies. The school mentioned they have informed all parents 1-2km to withdraw, but somehow 2 applicants did not manage/bother to withdraw.

So, the taboo topic. Anyone has any opinion of the 2 other schools near St. Anothony,… Dazhong and Lianhua?
