Yup absolutwild is correct. Whether St.margaret’s primary is related to St. Andrew’s Junior school (which is the primary school). Well, when I was in school, SAJS is considered a brother school to us.

Yesterday I called SAJS’ After School Care Centre (which they called it "SAJS Day Boarding Centre") (Tel: 6288 1782 / 9150 8866). A lady staff told me that although I am under Phrase 2C, I got to register now as the Boarding Centre is on first come first serve basis. Due to the place limitation, they will only intake 40 P1 students in 2016 (previously was 60). And now already got 29 students registered. I quickly rushing down to SAJS for the registration. I am the 30th and the lady staff said that if my son is sucessfully registered into SAJS under Phrase 2C, he will automatically enrol to the Boarding House as well.


The fees are as follows:
1. Registration: $50 (non-refundable)
2. Deposit: $310 (refundable with one month notice)
3. Monthly fees: S$310
4. School Vacation Fee: $20 per week
5. Toiletries: $30 per year

Definition of point 4? School Vacation fee: $20 per week. does it mean during sch holiday and kids not going to sch still have to pay $20 per week? or applicable to those kids during holiday still need to go back sch for extra activities/ tuitions/ classes then go boarding?


Got more details like if the child get to bathe n sleep there? does he have people to guide him on the homework given?

Vacation fee of $20 is applicable if you are putting your kids in student care during school holiday. As usually student care is only from 130 to 7pm so the $20 is for the morning part as during sch holiday you will likely send kids to student care in the morning for full day instead of half day.

Pri 1 & 2 gets to nap 1hr daily. And yes they bath too. They allocate approx 1 hr per day for homework once student finish their homework they are free to play. There will be activities if I’m not wrong. They will ensure they finish homework but will not check the homework correct or wrong.

My boy will be going P1 in 2016 and we will be shifting to Punggol year end. Just to check anyone stays in that area and how does your child goes to school? I am thinking if train or school bus will be better. Thanks.
