Welcome to KiasuParents.com, preggie! Does that mean there's another kid in the oven for you?I'm a mother of 2, the older girl is in P1. Younger one 18months.
Out of curiosity.. why do we have to report here first ah? :?
We had no idea ourselves what the Newbies section is for when we first started, until we started to have total strangers coming onboard to ask questions like \"what do you think of this pre-school/primary school/course/service/etc\". Then we realize that most times, when the questions were asked by newbies, we were not able to help much even if we wanted to because we do not know about their backgrounds.
As the community matures, the Newbies section has become very important as an ice-breaker for new members to come in and fit right away. It's like any other social setting in the physical world, where we don't normally ask strangers for favors. It is important to first establish trust with the community before you can be ensured of the best answers to the questions you pose.
We hope that new members will understand this, and provide information about themselves that others can relate to. We are not talking about personally identifiable information, but rather information that will allow the community to understand who they are talking too. -
:welcome: too
