So it looks like not possible to get As & Bs only in JCs. Anyone's kids never get worse than a B?

I think JC tactics is to simply overestimate the difficulty of the A-levels by setting harder school papers. That way, when the actual A-levels come, you wont panic in the exam hall. Also, if you’re worried that you’re doing badly in school papers, in J2, you should just try TYS papers instead. You’ll realise that the actual A-level papers are much easier.

I don't know leh. Must ask jtoh. They prolly did to the students but I'm clueless. My dd is similarly clueless to how her friends perform cos she doesn't ask.

It’s certainly possible to still score straight As in JC. I know of a few such people who recently received their grade report for CT1 in JC1. I must admit these people r highly gifted n passionate n disciplined.

                  Hi Augmum and zeemimi,

No idea on the stats. But I hear the poorest results are usually recorded at Year 6 CT1 and JCT. There are still students scoring As in various subjects though. And people moving in and out of remedial classes. 😄

Oh dear, I don't remember my DD ever scoring an A in JC1.

This is possible but as we all know - there are some JCs which are better than others. So the different JCs will hv different school exam standards.
