Why not? Just that the parent will not be the child's teacher in school. The teacher must declare the relationship, too.

It is quite common for the teachers' kids to be in the same school as them. Very convenient for both parent and child, but like what qms said, the teacher cannot teach his/her own child and has to declare the relationship from the very beginning.

I was told it is also like that for the PSLE marking. The teacher has to declare if he/she has a child who is taking the PSLE that year.

Yes, the teacher can register their kids in the same school they are teaching in...that's under Phase 2A2. Even if the parent is not a teacher, the child can still get into the school under another phase.

Yes, been there once 3yrs back. I think it is the only primary school I saw with a running track.

I drive from Punggol to somewhere near Aitong daily. The journey is quite alright. If take school bus will be around 1 hour. If take bus home, I don’t know will be how long cos I’ve never done that before. I don’t even know what buses there are around the area.[/quote]

Yes, been there once 3yrs back. I think it is the only primary school I saw with a running track.

however, that running track is not a full 400m track ! it is a triangular thing, about 260m only .... land is expensive lah
