      Heyya jedamum,

      Your ds is soooo funny!
      And extremely smart you know..

      Erm...his 'smartness' sometimes worries me...

Pertaining to holding girls' hands while queuing up during school assembly and such..

Me (trying to teach ds1 about personal space): Holding hands is ok. Don't go and hug the girl like the way you like to hug your didi, ok?
      ds1 : Why not?
Me : Erm... if the girl's mummy saw that, she may not like it.
ds1 : Then don't do it in front of the mother lor.

      :!:

Here's a toast to the future politician!

*Oh, i read that he might be interested to
be his own boss i think, so in any case he'd
        be one shrewd boss!

I do enjoy his smart innocent humour..
He must bring lotsa smiles to you family..

              Heyya all,

P2 had given me one to post here today.
Ya know how different schools have different
rules for girls having PE days? I found out from
her that she has to put on the uniform over her
PE attire, when in P1 it was ok to come in the PE
attire on its own. I'm fine with both, btw..

Then a neighbour's gal came out of the transport
wearing PE attire and the mum said she did't rcv
any special instructions from the girl of teacher to
ensure child wears pinafore over PE attire. When
questioned P2 said, mebbe her class they don't
need to, but my class teacher said MUST. So, i
just trusted her lah, nvr even check with teacher.
If there is anything i will be called ain't it?

This morning, she just wanted to re-confirm that
she didn't get the wrong instruction. It went like this.

P2 : Mummy, i'm right you know abt the pinafore thingy.
Me : Yes, all right. Don't worry about it.
P2 : But you are right that some other classes they don't
              need to put it on.
Me : But, as long as you follow your class teacher, its ok.
Don't worry about other classes, ya?
Me : Sensing she sounded a bit worried..................
Do the others in your class practise the same?
              (dress code)?
P2 : Yes, mummy. Except for the boys.

My DH suggested I put this up here.

Just now, my DD was talking on the phone with her best friend from kindergarten. They go to different primary schools now so they had a lot to catch up on. At first, I thought it was just going to be s short chat but after 5 minutes or so, I started reminding my DD that if she wanted to do other things, she had better hang up soon. The following is after 1-2 times of reminding.

Me: If you don't stop soon, you won't have time to do the other things you want to do, you know.
DD: Yes, yes, yes. I'm talking here, you know so don't disturb me. I don't disturb you when you talk on the phone, right? Go eat your dinner lah.
                Me:

I tuned out a bit to eat my dinner, as \"commanded\" and when I tuned back in a few minutes later, I heard the following.

DD: Do you know that my school has a hall? Do you have a hall? H-A-L-L, you know.
Me (listening in background and thinking): (Okaaaay, since she is in P1, maybe she doesn't know how other pri schs are like.)
                DD: What about canteen?
                Me: .....
                DD: Do you have toilet?
At this point, I think her friend went 😐
DD: Of course you have toilet. Otehrwise, when you urgent, where will you go? Pass urine in the drain?

                Me: :faint:

                  Heyya schellen,

You're not alone. P2 does it too!
Weird how they chat, ain't it. :stupid:

Same same, they'll be asking each other :
                  >Do you have form teacher, i have you know.. She's ok.
                  >Do you have PE in your school, yeah i have it too. Quite fun.
                  >Do you have lotsa homework, waaah dun have ah. So good.
                  >Does your school have parade square and the flag? Cool huh..
But i dun like. Fall down there very painful. Tar you know.
                  >Does your canteen sell fishball? Wuaaah! Have as well?
Nicer than my school's or not?

                    Heyya guys,

I remember now once after we came back from the library,
we were discussing the jokes we read from a riddle joke book
while we were there. So, hubs got a bit excited hearing the gals'
giggles, he asked, \"So had a good time at the library?\" Kids said,
\"Yeaaah, dad. We were reading all these funny jokes with mum at
the library... lemme give you one, k?\"

                    >Who do birds marry?
                    >Dunno? Their tweet-hearts.. Get it dad.. Get it?

                    >Ermm, how abt another one.. What do you call an angry game?
                    >Clue for you, dad... No need? I tell you the answer k. Crossword puzzle!

                    >Ok last one, last one.. What do you call quiet dogs?
                    >You quit? Its so easy... hush-puppies! Funny right dad...? Dad?

By this time, hubs didn't seemed tickled pink at all..
Then, after his quiet few minutes, he asked..

                    >Lemme give you one.. I'm sure you don't know this..
                    >Why did the chicken cross the road? Why? Why?

Kiddie shook her head.. Now looking a bit frustrated.. A bit sad..
A bit like fed up.. But, still dun wanna give up..

                    >Need a clue, baby.. How bout' daddy give u a hint... Want? Want?
                    >No. No need dad. I can do this, I can do this..

                    >Ah-haah!! I got it!!! .......... ermm i think..

                    >>>Cos the chicken wanted to die? :stupid: šŸ˜›
