Is it acceptable in the JCs for boys to be spotting Henna tattoos on their hands? Thought Henna is normally used by Hindu and Muslim brides.

thank you havok_ex for the helpful insight.
Its actually not that bad. When I was in JC1, we didnt have a math teacher because the one we got was on maternity leaver. So a graduated student took over for a few months. It was okay.doodley:
Hi !
I would like to seek parent's opinion. My girl is in jc2 this year. Her teacher asked her to do 5 months relief teaching at her own JC next year after her A levels. What do you think of this? It seems intimidating to teach students 2 years her junior. And it looks like she can't really take a break after the A levels from studies because she has to keep uptodate with the material. I wonder if I should encourage her or let her take a good break after A levels.
Its also good income and experience. I dont think there's a real need for a holiday either. Considering that in uni you will have really long summer breaks too. Most students also go on exchange during semester time in university and treat that as a holiday as well lol. She can also go for a holiday in December when uni takes a break for about a month and a half. In total, you only have 26 weeks of university each year. Broken up into two semesters of 13 weeks each. So you're left with another 26 weeks of the year to enjoy. -

Usually the school will compile for the students. -

Different school's tutorials have different styles that may or may not work for your kid. Some schools just dump tons of questions while some top schools go for minimal fundamental mastery instead of drill \"blindly\".
If you are preparing your child for exam, go purchase JC 1 promo papers (though schools will usually compile questions from there as a revision package).

[/quote]Honestly, as a a current jc tutor, I feel that it is really not necessary. Her own school tutorials will be more than enough. As a parent, if you can ensure that your daughter has the consistency to finish every tutorial qns before her lesson and do pre-readings for her lectures, that would be a very ideal scenario.

Is it correct that distinction in O Level HCL can replace H1 GP or H1 PW result?
