Appreciate some advice, pls.
After touching down at Pudong Airport around 3pm, we plan to go straight to Hangzhou before returning to Shanghai a few days later.
May I ask what is the most economical & faster method to reach Hangzhou?
By subway+ train or long-distance bus from Pudong?

From hongqiao airport terminal two, go to basement train station take the high speed train to hangzhou, cheap, fast, convenient
From hangzhou do the same and arrive at hongqiao T2, then to wherever in Shanghai
Hongqiao T2 is modern and integrated transport hub for planes, high speed train, subway line 2 to town etc. incidentally the line 2 also link pudong airport to hongqiao airport but many many stops and very squeezy... 70 minutes for a few rmb -

From Pudong Airport, take this bus to Hong Qiao Airport T2.
From Hong Qiao Airport T2, look for the G-series high speed train to Hangzhou?

You can consider hotels from the http://hotel.jinjiang.com/. Some of their hotels are reasonably priced.

When I don't feel like spending too much on hotel rooms in China, I will consider their local http://www.homeinns.com chain also. Generally decent with no frills. -
