yes. Original S&P agreement must be produced. There is likely a condition on the T.O.P. too. In past years, the condition states the T.O.P. must be no later than 31Dec of registration year + 2.I have a question:
Say the property I bought TOP before the registration starts in July but I have not moved in and therefore my I/C reflects the current address. Can I still bring my S&P and register using the new property's address? -

No problem with TOP date. Can I not move in even though property TOP before registration date?

If the project is completed, and the purchased is made way ahead of the registration period and yet have not shifted in, then I do not believe they would accept.
this clause of allowing parents to use S&P to register is meant for yet-to-complete project. -

hi parents,
can advise me?
we are currently staying at HDB, my hubby has been staying there since 1991 with my MIL. The flat is under my hubby’s name. We intend to register a school (within 1km) under phrase 2C this yr for my DS1.
last yr, we also bought a condo (within 2km) from the school for investment purposes. The TOP of the condo is this mth.
If we managed to ballot into the popular neighbourhood school this yr, and subsequently, decided to stay at the new condo before my DS enter into P1 next yr, is it ok? do we need to inform the school? cos i understand from previous post that we r suppose to stay at the same registration address before P3?
We have yet to decide whether to stay at the new condo ivo the size. If able to accomodate the family, we might just stay there since it’s walking distance to my DS2 CC and not far from the Primary school too. Can’t use the condo address for P1 registeration as is 1-2km, the school balloting history need to ballot within 1km under phrase C already. -

Hi, if a school needs a relocation due to renovation and I’m staying within 1km to the new location…CAn I register my child as phase 2b?

No, proximity does not qualify you for phase 2B. The priority phases (1, 2A1, 2A2, 2B) are determined by your relationship with the school.
The distance only gives you advantage when balloting is necessary to allocate places.
Take a good look at this MOE site http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/phases/ which will tell you all you need to know about the different phases.
