      NerdyMath:
Please advise if the situation below is acceptable.

I got onto a crowded bus and can't find a seat. As my school bag was really heavy, a kind man offered his seat to me and alighted. I was really grateful for that. Then, an old man entered the bus and everyone was pretending that they did not see him. I was in a dilemma whether to give up the seat. Then, I remembered the man's action. I gave up my seat for the old man and lied that I had reached so he would not feel bad that I had no seats. I alighted and waiting for another bus. Then, I saw the man who gave his seat to me. I thought to myself that Kindness goes a long way.
Yes, the situation is acceptable. Here's a slight rewrite, which some might find instructive, to develop the language:

I boarded a crowded bus and could not find an empty seat. Seeing me struggle with my really heavy school bag, a considerate man kindly offered his seat to me and dismissed my reluctance to accept as he was in fact alighting. I was really grateful for his thoughtfulness. Before I could sit down, however, a wizened elderly man entered the bus. To my chagrin, everyone pretended that he or she did not see him. Initially, I was in a dilemma as to whether to give up the seat, but then I remembered the man's action. I beckoned the old man over and gladly let him have my seat, telling a fib that I had already reached my stop so that he would not feel bad that I had no seat. He smiled broadly in gratitude. I alighted and waited for another bus. I felt reminded of the American phrase ‘Pay it forward’: consideration and kindness go a long way.

Found the whole thing quite easy, but essay is slightly trickier because of the simple storyline, therefore hard to write more (3-4 sides/pages) The MCQ Synonyms (??) part was a little difficult as well.

I have not seen the paper and thus the full sentence, but this surely would be:
                  (2) accept

Do we have to put comma before resulting?
